Starlight Thinlits for the Try Stampin’ on Tuesday Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Blog Hop!  The Design team is hopping this week and we have a wonderful sketch for the blog hop and challenge.

TSOT #295

It is a lovely sketch that is SO versatile.  Here is what I stamped for #TSOT295.

Star of Light stamp set Starlight thinlits www.sharonburkert.com

I love having so many gold choices.  I used the Gold Glimmer paper to cut out the star and "peace",  gold sequins from the Metallic Sequin Assortment, Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate for the strip of gold dots,  and the Neutrals DSP Stacks which has gold diagonal stripe DSP.  I chose Blushing Bride as an accent color and like that it is a little different choice for a Christmas card.

Product List

I didn't realize until I was writing this post that so far I hadn't use any stamps or ink on the card.  Rest assured that I will stamp a sentiment for the inside of the card.

Be sure to hop along and see what all the other members of the Try Stampin' on Tuesday design team created .  Next up on the Hop is Lori.  Be sure to check out her beautiful card.  Enjoy the hop and then be sure to participate in the Challenge too!

  1. Oh WOW Sharon, this is just stunning!! Remember you guys are Try Stampin’ or NOT – LOL. This card is just amazing! I love the pink and gold together. I love all the sparkle and I am not a glitter girl because I don’t like the mess on my table. But this is so beautiful! Great job! Someone will be amazed when they open the envelope this Christmas season!
    Hugs, Sarah T

  2. Beautiful card! I have the two sets of thinlits you used, but haven’t played much with the Starlight ones yet… you have inspired me to start playing! Thank you!

  3. Great job! I have this stamp and die set and you’ve given me the want to go play with it all. TFS,

  4. Thanks Sarah! Such a sweet comment, you made my day! You know I don’t mind glitter but the nice thing about this card is that the star was cut from gold glimmer paper so there is very little glitter trails. Thanks again!

  5. Thank you Carole! Love the font on this die and want lots of different sentiments with it. The Star of Light set is probably one of my favorites from the current SU Holiday catalog. Have fun stamping and thank you for stopping by!

  6. Oh Lori, you are going to love the Starlight dies! So much fun. I will admit that I haven’t gotten much past the larger star but I will get there. This is probably one of my very favorite stamps and die bundle and I look forward to playing with it even more! Thank you for stopping by and leaving such sweet comment!
