Simply Scored Diagonal Plate

As you no doubt have seen or heard Stampin' Up! has a new tool called the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate.  I have been playing with it and am very excited about the possibilites.  Over the next few days I am going to share with you some samples using the Simply Scored and the Diagonal Plate.   I started playing with the plate in preparation for my team meeting and here is the first card project I made.

Ssdp mocha morn

Simple embossing, still love that Mocha Morning Specialty DSP!

Don't look too closely it looks like I missed placing the pearls in  a few of the intersection points.   Yikes!  It is true photos do not lie!  Since I had the Mocha Morning paper out I made another card which I will post on my Facebook page.  Yes, posting to my Facebook page is another one of those pesky 12 in 12 items.  Check it out when you get a chance.  Here is a link (i hope).   Here's another look I tried, double lines.  Thank goodness the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate (SSDP) has 1/8" lines, it made it very easy to do this.

Are you shaking your head ?  I know that is a lot of little butterflies!  Not sure how many of these cards I will make but I do like how it turned out.   If you would like more information about the Simply Scored and/or the Simply Scored Diagonal plate please leave me a comment or send me an email.

  2. I CASEd your butterfly beauty and did away with the things with wings and subbed in pearls plus an antique brad on the satin ribbon and it turned out just so great! Thanks for a gorgeous inspiration!!!

  3. I love this card but can not figure out how to do the scoring. How far apart are the score lines? I am feeling rather stupid. I am probably over thinking this but must admit I need help.
