Happy Easter Chick revised

Just a quick post to show you a revision of the Happy Easter Chick card I posted this morning.   The only thing I added was some Perfect Polka Dot TIEF on the card base.

Revised happy chick dots out

What do you think, does it look better?  I also did another revision adding a little dotted texture to the inside of the oval.  I am posting that to my Facebook page.  Go and check that out too and see if I should just leave it alone or if the dots make a difference.  Let me know!

  1. oh my word, isn’t it amazing what some tiny little raised dots can do!!
This is exactly what I was trying to say in my original post, but said it wrong, hence my corrected post.
I don’t have this little branch, can anyone else think of something equally as cute to have the little chick on?

  3. Very cute! I agree that sometimes a little bit of texture makes a card feel more finished.
I also love Easter cards that can be easily transformed into Spring cards by changing the sentiment. I have 2 young nephews and a niece who are Jewish and I send them Spring cards instead of Easter.

  5. Thanks Maureen! I agree that cards that can be used for different occasions and people are the best. Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment. If I can be of help just let me know.
