Stripes!

Have you noticed that there are some new Textured Impressions Embossing Folders( TIEF) in the new catalog? I think TIEF are fantastic and add so much with so little effort. I just received the Stripes TIEF and wanted to try the double embossing technique. I brayered VersaMark ink directly on one side of the TIEF and then placed the cardstock in the folder and ran it through the Big Shot. I sprinkled on some Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder and heated it with the heat gun. Iridescent Ice embossing powder is clear embossing powder with Dazzling Diamonds glitter mixed in.

What do you think? It is hard to see the shine and glitter from the Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder in this picture. I love how it looks and will be using this technique again soon.

Extras: Neutrals Glimmer Brad, Irisdescent Ice EP, Heat Gun,

Hi Wilma, I just sent you an email and then realized you commented on my blog. I cleaned up the folder by spraying SU Stampin’ Mist and wiping it off with an old washcloth. I don’t feel any stickiness. This TIEF is easy since it doesn’t have a lot of detail. Thanks for the question and let me know if I can help answer anymore.
