October ICS Blog Hop…Ribbon of Courage
Welcome to the Inspire, Create & Share blog hop. The theme for this month is Colors of Courage.
I used the Ribbon of Courage stamp set for my project and the simple sentiment included in the set, "courage". I thought about the word courage and if that was the right word for what I wanted to say. I decided to lookup the definition and here is one definition I found., "mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty". I also found a great article titled The Real Definition of Courage. It offers a more rounded and maybe practical definition of the word. It is a quick read that offers a lot of insight into the word. The author, Rebecca Perkins writes, "Courage is admitting we can't cope alone. Courage is choosing love over fear. Courage is continuing through adversity. Courage is trusting that all will be well. " There are many more other ways she defines courage but those were the ones that jumped out at me.
This card is going to a friend of mine who was recently diagnosed. I want her to know that I am thinking of her and sending her lots of love, support, and courage.
Now it is time for you to see what the Anastasia has created for you!
