Rustic Celebrations Just A Note
It is Thursday and time for a new Create with Stamping Friends Challenge. This week it is a color challenge.
I have to credit this color challenge for my new appreciation of the color Basic Beige. Yes, I wasn't a fan of the color. Now after playing with Basic Beige I have used it many times. It is a light enough color to write on and use as an inside layer and it looks so good with the colors of Fall.
Yes, I used one of my go-to stamp sets, Rustic Celebrations.
- Pecan Pie CS card base – 5-1/2" x 8-1/2".
- Early Espresso card base – 4" x 5-1/4".
- Woven Textures DSP – 3-7/8" x 5-1/8".
- Early Espresso CS cut using the Everyday Arches dies ( #7 – #1 being the smallest die).
- Basic Beige CS cut using the Everyday Arches dies (#6 – #1 being the smallest die).
- Sentiment from Simply Said inked in Early Espresso ink.
- Rustic Centerpiece image inked in Early Espresso ink.
- Blender pen used to color the log containers.
- Image colored using Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends and Basic Beige ink with a Blender pen.
- Layer the Basic Beige arch and the Early Espresso Arch.
- Early Espresso Linen Thread tied in a bow. This item will be available 9/3 (Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen Thread pack an Online Exclusive). I have been wanting both of these colors in either Linen Thread or Baker's Twine. So happy!
- Attach the arches to the card base with Stampin' Dimensinals.
Inside a layer of Basic Beige CS and a strip of the Woven Textures DSP.
Be sure to check out what the rest of the Create with Stamping Friends made with this color combination.
Thank you for stopping by!
