Baker’s Box and a Hanging Note Card
You know I enjoy participating in challenges and when I saw the Stampin' Royalty Challenge #314 I knew I had to play along.
Their inspiration photo is amazing, it makes me so happy.
What to make with this awesome photo inspiration? So many possibilities! I decided to make a box since it has been a while since I have shared a packaging idea.
I used the flower from the Crazy About You stamp set and stamped it in Real Red ink on Real Red card stock. The flower is punched out using the Flower Medallion punch. I did do some fussy cutting to make the smaller flowers, fortunately the stamp has easy to follow lines to help me cut.
After I made the box I started thinking about adding a note card or tag. I wanted it to be attached to the box and this is what I came up with. I am pretty excited about this.
Do you want to know how I made this? Hopefully you said yes cause I am going to show you!
This little die is part of the Baker's Box thinlits. You can use it to cut out handles to the top of the Baker's Box. It can also be used to hang a little note card. I cannot decide which is easier to cut the die first and then cut it to the right size (3/8" x 2") or cut the card stock first(as shown in the picture).
This is what you will end up with. Apply some glue to the top portion and the sides but not along the bottom.
You slip your little note card through the slit and the bottom of the hanger. The little note card measures 1-1/2" x 3" . The "thanks" is also from the Crazy About You stamp set. Pretty cool huh?
Here's the list of the supplies I used. If you would like to order anything just click on the picture and you will be taken to my online store. Thanks!
